Mel McDaniel Released from Hospital
Grand Ole Opry star Mel McDaniel, who suffered a heart attack in June, has been released from a Nashville hospital.

In early July, Mel’s wife, Peggy, had asked fans to pray for her husband because his condition was “not good.” Now, Mel is being moved to a rehabilitation center in Nashville and will undergo further treatments. Mel’s biggest hits include “Stand Up,” “Baby’s Got Her Blue Jeans On” and more. He joined the Grand Ole Opry in 1986.
