McGRAW'S EMERGENCY APPENDECTOMY

Upon returning home from the close of the #1 rated country tour of the year, "Soul 2 Soul Tour 2000", Tim McGraw underwent an emergency appendectomy early Thursday morning (Dec. 14th) in Nashville at Baptist Hospital. McGraw will be recovering at home through the holidays.

McGraw expects to be fully recovered for the American Music Awards in January where he is nominated as Best Country Male. McGraw is currently enjoying the success of the #1 single "My Next Thirty Years" and #1 album Greatest Hits.
