McCANN HOMECOMING

Lila McCann went home to Washington State for her latest performance. The crowds at the King County Fair welcomed home their native daughter with applause and special honors. Lila was inducted into the Fraternal Order of Eagles, an organization in which her father is a member. She owes much to the Order as their clubhouse was the site of her "discovery" at the age of nine when she used to sing in her father's band.

Other events of note during her homecoming included a special treat for fan Jessie Seely. Seely won a contest sponsored by AOL and Warner Bros. Records in which he received a trip to watch a Lila McCann concert. The lucky fan got to hang out with her backstage as well as take photos with Lila.

Lila topped off her perfect evening by helping plan a surprise birthday dinner for her mother Gretchen who was glad to have her daughter home.
