Mary Chapin Carpenter has certainly reinvented herself throughout her career, from the fun-loving 1992 album, Come On Come On (featuring "Down At The Twist and Shout") to her more introspective 1997 album The Calling.
Now, the songbird is getting set to release her first album in three years, entitled The Age of Miracles. The new collection will feature Vince Gill and Alison Krauss, and is set to be released April 27 on Rounder Records.
