MARTY STUART CHARGED WITH DUI

Yesterday police in Hendersonville, Tenn. arrested Marty Stuart on charges that included driving under the influence of alcohol, saying the singer was seen striking a parked car outside a McDonald's. Lt. Paul Harbsmeier told Hendersonville Star News reporter Jeremy Johnson that police arrested Marty after receiving a complaint at 3:29 p.m. of an accident involving a possibly intoxicated driver along Hendersonville's West Main Street. Officers found Marty at the scene, charging him with DUI, implied consent and simple possession. Harbsmeier said officers also found Marty in possession of drugs in pill form.
