MARTINA'S ADVICE FOR NEWBIES

Country superstar Martina McBride doesn't envy the new singers who will try to make it in 2004. "It's really tough out there right now," she says of the current music business climate. But the reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the year does have some advice for country newcomers. "You have to listen to that little voice inside and know what it is that you will do and what you won't do in your career," she says. "Some of these artists are just so young, I don't know how they are going to handle all that pressure. I would say to be true to yourself and know what's best for you as an individual."
