Martina McBride to Sing At AFC Showdown

Martina announced this morning via Twitter that she’ll be singing the anthem for the Steelers-Jets American Football Conference championship this Sunday in Pittsburgh.
“Sorry 2 make u wait so long but here is my news: I am singing the National Anthem at the AFC Championship playoffs n Pittsburgh this Sunday!” she tweeted.
See, I told ya.
Pittsburgh loves them some country music—Hank Williams Jr. has been a frequent anthem singer for the Steelers, and Heinz Field has hosted several country concerts, including a few appearances by Kenny Chesney.
The AFC Championship Game happens Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET.
