Martina McBride Releases “Reckless” New Single

It’s her first new single since 2012.

Martina McBride has released a brand-new single titled “Reckless,” her first since 2012’s “Marry Me”—a duet with Train’s Pat Monahan off her 2011 album Eleven.

Written by Zach Crowell, Heather Morgan and Sarah Buxton, the power anthem puts Martina’s soaring vocals and gratitude on full display, telling a story about being saved by love.

“It’s such a special song to me,” Martina says on her Facebook page. “My hope is that you hear it and think of someone who has taken a chance on you and reached out to love you through a hard or dark time. Someone who pulled you from the edge as the song says. Sometimes life finds us in a vulnerable place. Thank God for the ones who love us recklessly and unconditionally.”

The single is part of Martina’s upcoming album, which has yet to be announced but is expected sometime in 2016.
