Martina McBride Lends Her Voice to Fight Cancer

Martina McBride is partnering with Hospital Corporation of America for a new campaign called Band Against Cancer.

Martina joined the corporation's officials to announce the campaign Monday morning (Feb. 8) at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.

Martina will be the flagship artist for Band Against Cancer and is set to headline The Sarah Cannon Concert Tour, which will benefit several charitable cancer support organizations.

Sarah Cannon is the global cancer institute of Hospital Corporation of America, with programs designed to provide state-of-the-art cancer care.

The Sarah Cannon Concert Tour will travel to several cities throughout the U.S., with the final show slated for October in Nashville. Full details about each tour spot will be announced soon.

In addition to the concerts, Martina will be involved in in a national social and digital initiative to help advance the fight against cancer.

“Helping families who are facing cancer has always been a cause that is near and dear to my heart,” Martina said at the announcement.

“I’m honored to be the voice that connects these individuals and their families with a fully committed team of cancer experts.”
