MARTINA McBRIDE HOSTS CELEBRITY AUCTION AT FAN FAIR

Once again, Martina McBride will host the celebrity auction at Fan Fair.

The auction raises money for YWCA programs in Nashville and Tennessee, and since Martina's been involved with the program – going on ten years now – the celebrity auction at Fan Fair has grown in size and money raised.

Last year, more than 500 people attended the auction, raising over $62,000, and this year should be no different.

Items up for bid include autographed pieces of clothing, CDs, posters and other items donated by celebrities including: Trace Adkins, Jessica Andrews, Billy Gilman, Andy Griggs, Patty Loveless, Jo Dee Messina, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Randy Travis, Chely Wright, Trisha Yearwood, Wynonna – and more.

"I find it really gratifying to host the celebrity auction each year," says Martina. "It's become a staple event at Fan Fair and I think the fans really enjoy it. The auction is a fun way to raise money for some really important and meaningful programs. As a woman and a parent, I understand how important these family programs are for our community and I feel grateful for the opportunity to lend a hand."
