Martina McBride Gearing Up for New Music

McBride, Martina

Martina McBride recently showcased a few tunes from her upcoming (currently untitled) album for a group of radio programmers during a “Martinis With Martina” event at her Nashville home.

Martina has made several changes involving her career during the past year, including changing record labels and management companies, and the changes continue with the making of the new album. For starters, she opted to record in Atlanta instead of Nashville. The country superstar recorded 18 tracks over the course of eight days.

She explained to the crowd that the move helped her to also refocus her music, saying that she had a clear vision musically and sonically for this album. She called the album the best album she's ever made, according to MSN.

The first single from the album, titled “Teenage Daughters,” is slated to be released to radio in April.
