Martina McBride Celebrates Cancer Survivors

Martina McBride has been empowering women with her anthemic songs for years, and in her hit single "I"m Gonna Love You Through It" she addresses the strength of a woman battling cancer and those who support her.

Appropriately, Martina has joined the Women's Survivor's Alliance to salute women who have survived cancer with a special performance at the Grand Ole Opry on Aug. 24. The show is part of the National Women's Survivors Convention being held in Nashville that weekend. Music City will welcome female survivors of all types of cancers for the three-day event.

Last year, Martina was brought onto the stage by Good Morning America host and cancer survivor Robin Roberts for a performance of "I'm Gonna Love You Through It" on the annual "Opry Goes Pink" show.
