Marching Band has Hometown Surprise for Lady A

Lakeside High School—where Dave and Charles went—sends band onto the stage during Augusta, Ga., show

Every Wednesday, Lady Antebellum puts up a new "webisode" for fans, but this Wednesday (May 23) is the trio's 200th installment in the series.

The marching band at Lakeside High School in Augusta, Ga.—where Lady A's Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood attended—decided to do something special to mark the occasion.

The band marched onto the stage Tuesday night (May 22) during Lady A's hometown show in Augusta, Ga. And the group did its version of the popular trio's "We Own the Night."

The guys and Hillary Scott seemed delighted.

Many fans told the local newspaper that they were happy to see hometown heroes Charles and Dave return as country superstars.

Jean Daniel says she has known Charles' dad, Dr. John Kelley, for 40 years.

She said it makes her and her family proud “to see them rise with such prominence.”
