Man Is Killed After Jason Aldean’s Show in Scranton, Pa.

Police are investigating whether a driver was drunk when he hit and killed a pedestrian in his 40s.

Tragic news from Jason Aldean's show Sunday night (Aug. 25) in Scranton, Pa.—one of his fans was killed by an SUV while the crowd was leaving, TV station WNEP reported.

The victim was a man in his 40s on foot when the SUV hit him, police said. The victim's name hadn't been released as of Monday morning.

Police said they are investigating whether the SUV driver was impaired. The accident caused a massive backup for the thousands of fans leaving the concert, and the last cars didn't get out of the area until 3 a.m., the TV station reported.

The accident marred what was otherwise a hugely successful night for Jason, who was joined onstage for "Don't You Wanna Stay" by Kelly Clarkson, the local newspaper reported.
