Make It “Sixty for Sixty” for George Strait

George Strait has a lot of No. 1 hits—59 of them, to be exact, taking all airplay charts into consideration. As he approaches his 60th with rising single "Give It All We Got Tonight," artists and fans are joining the "Sixty for Sixty" movement to encourage radio to make the tune No. 1 before George turns 61 on May 18.

So far, it seems to be working. "Give It All We Got Tonight" reached gold sales status (for sales of more than 500,000 copies) faster than any of George's previous singles, and it's already in the Top 15 on the charts.

Check out the video below of George's friends talking about the movement and find out a little more at sixtyforsixty.com.
