Luke Bryan is ratcheting it up to the next level in his skyrocketing career as he prepares to headline football stadiums for the first time. Luke revealed the stadium show schedule, which will be part of his That’s My Kind of Night Tour, at a press conference at the Bridegstone Arena in Nashville, Tuesday morning (Jan. 14).

Luke will kick off the first of his three stadium shows June 21 at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, home to the NFL’s Steelers. He’ll also hit Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Aug. 15 and Soldier Field in Chicago on Aug. 31. Special guest Dierks Bentley will join Luke at the Pittsburgh and Chicago shows.

The tour’s first leg gets underway Thursday night, Jan. 16, in Columbus, Ohio, and wraps March 8 in Bossier City, La. The second leg of the tour will wind up at the famous Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Oct. 25. Lee Brice and Cole Swindell will serve as the opening acts for all the stops on the tour, including the stadium shows.

Luke told members of the media that he had been dreaming of headlining stadiums for years.

“I saw George Strait at a stadium and I thought, ‘What can I do to arrive at this moment?’” Luke said. He added that the production values will be sufficiently ramped up for this tour. “The set pieces will change during the show,” Luke pointed out. “There will be more lights, more video.”
