Luke Bryan Scores Eighth No. 1 Single With “That’s My Kind of Night”

The chart-topper is the second single from Luke’s platinum-selling Crash My Party album.

This week, Luke Bryan makes his eighth trip to the top of the country singles chart, as “That’s My Kind of Night” claims the No. 1 position on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart.

Penned by two-time BMI Songwriter of the Year Dallas Davidson, Ashley Gorley and Chris DeStefano, “That’s My Kind of Night” has been Luke's highest-debuting single to date. The tune has continued to be the top-selling country single for the past nine consecutive weeks.

The chart-topper is the second single from Luke’s platinum-selling Crash My Party album, which debuted at No. 1 on both the all-genre Billboard 200 and country albums charts with first-week sales of 527,783 units. The sales of the project made Crash My Party the biggest debut by a male country artist since 2004 and the fourth-highest album debut across all genres this year.

Last week, Luke announced his 2014 headlining That’s My Kind of Night Tour, which will kick off on Jan. 16 and continue on with a total of 18 shows throughout the first quarter of the year.
