Luke Bryan Prepares to Co-Host ACM Awards

Call it tough love, but Luke Bryan is relying on his team being honest to help him prepare to co-host the Academy of Country Music Awards show Sunday (April 7).

"I mean, for two years, I said 'you know' 35 times in an interview, and I had little tics that you have to work out," Luke told reporters. "And so, that's what you have to build through the years, and you have to have people in your camp that are comfortable enough to come up and go, 'Listen.' And I want people to do that."

Luke also has a secret to success for co-hosting with Blake Shelton: "I think peparation and prayer ought to get you ready for anything."

And when all else fails, Luke says, to relax and settle down, he'll look at his buddy Jason Aldean in the audience.

"When I do start getting tongue-tied, I'll have to look down at him. I'm sure he'll wink at me and be bent over laughing in his chair."
