The American Country Awards have announced the nominees for this year's show, plus an addition to the categories.

Luke Bryan scored seven nominations, including Artist of the Year, Male Vocalist and Album for Tailgates & Tanlines. Following closely behind him are Lady Antebellum and Zac Brown Band with six nods each, including Artist for both. Garnering five nominations each are Jason Aldean, Eric Church and Taylor Swift. Both Jason and Taylor also won spots in the coveted Artist category.

The ACAs also added a Song of the Year category to recognize country music's best songwriters.
