Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley and Others Take the Ice Bucket Challenge

Stars do their part to fight ALS.

Videos are popping up all over featuring Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley and other stars dumping buckets of ice water over their heads.

But they’re not trying to cool off from the summer heat and humidity. They’re taking part in the season’s hottest phenomenon, the “Ice Bucket Challenge,” a movement that aims to raise money and awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, more commonly known as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Participants in the challenge nominate a friend or family member to keep the cycle going and dump a bucket of ice water over themselves. If the nominees fail to accept the challenge within 24 hours, they are asked to donate to ALS research.

So far, the donations have been pouring in, you might say. Chase Rice, who directly challenged Dierks, and new group The Cadillac Three are among the latest to participate in this worthy cause.

Check out their hilarious videos, along with those for Luke and Dierks, right here.
