Good buddies Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis, who bill themselves as Grits & Glamour, gave a sneak preview of their upcoming album, Dos Divas, for invited guests at the BMI building in Nashville, Wednesday (July 10).

Pam and Lorrie performed several tunes from the album, including the first single, “I Know What You Did Last Night.” The two are also touring as Grits & Glamour in support of Dos Divas, set for release July 23.

“I’m so thrilled to be a part of this project,” Pam told the crowd. “It’s fun to get to do this together.”

Lorrie and Pam co-wrote the title track and other songs, but also culled material from some of Nashville’s top writers. “We were blessed to have so many songs to choose from for this,” Lorrie said.

One of Lorrie’s favorites is “Another Chance To,” which they performed at the preview, written by Joe West, Tom Shapiro and Tammi Kidd. “I thought of my husband [Randy] when we did this,” Lorrie warmly noted.
