Lorrie Morgan Files for Divorce
Lorrie Morgan filed for divorce from her husband of six years, Sammy Kershaw, Oct. 23.
Lorrie and Sammy were married Sept. 29, 2001, in Nashville. They have been separated since Aug. 9, according to Nashville’s daily newspaper The Tennessean. Lorrie cited irreconcilable differences in the court records and asked the court to enforce a prenuptial agreement that was executed prior to their wedding. Sammy recently ran for lieutenant governor of Louisiana, but was defeated.
