“American Idol” runner-up will make her Opry debut during CMA Music Festival week.
LORETTA RESTING AT HOME
Loretta Lynn was released from the hospital Saturday after spending two weeks fighting off a nasty case of pneumonia. Country music's beloved "queen" is now resting at her Hurricane Mills, Tenn., home.
Doctors are pleased with Loretta 's recovery, but they want her taking it easy for at least a month. And for a woman who at 65 continues to perform for fans, that's not an easy feat.
"She's thrilled to be home and is anxious to get back to work," says Loretta's publicist. "If you know Loretta, then you know it's hard to keep a good woman down."
