LORETTA LYNN VIDEO ADDED TO MTV

When a country legend and a Detroit rocker team up to make music, anything can happen. Loretta Lynn can now be seen on MTV, singing with her producer Jack White of the White Stripes. In Loretta's new video for "Portland, Oregon," a song off her latest album, Van Lear Rose, she and Jack flirt and sing the fire out of the slow-burning country rocker. But MTV's not the only unlikely admirer of Kentucky's proudest coal miner's daughter. Last week Loretta was awarded the Americana Music Awards trophies for Album of the Year (for Van Lear Rose) and Artist of the Year. She is also featured in the October issue of SPIN magazine's 2004 "The Cool List" at # 10, and additionally, was recently nominated for the 2004 Shortlist Music Prize.
