Loretta Lynn Says She’ll Record With the Hag

“I want to have more hits. Giving up is for quitters!” Loretta says. “They need me out there.”

Loretta Lynn says she's not done making music.

And the Coal Miner's Daughter tells an Atlanta newspaper that she'll make some of that new music with the Hag.

"Me and Merle Haggard are going to do a record. He hasn’t lost one note of his voice," she said. "I want to record a song with him that he wrote, ‘Today I Started Loving You Again.’"

Don't think for a second that, at age 77, Loretta is ready to throw in the towel.

"I want to have more hits. Giving up is for quitters!" she says.

"No one says anything anymore [in songs]. They need me out there."

Yes we do.
