Loretta Lynn Postpones First Two Concert Dates of 2012

The singer is still recovering from knee surgery.

Loretta Lynn has postponed her concert on Jan. 7 at Paramount Arts Center in Ashland, Ky., as well as a show on Jan. 8 at the Durham Performing Arts Center in Durham, N.C., according to a post on her website.

Huntington, W.Va., newspaper The Herald-Dispatch reports that the 76-year-old singer is still recovering from knee surgery, citing this as the reason for the concert postponements. Knee problems have caused the singer to be sidelined several times over the past year. Loretta postponed shows in March 2011 due to a torn knee ligament, and underwent reconstructive knee surgery in August 2011.

According to The Herald-Dispatch, The Paramount concert has been rescheduled for Feb. 25.
