Call it the power of the Twitter.

Miranda Lambert gave fellow country singer LeAnn Rimes a quick shout-out late Thursday night—and that started what may end up as the hottest country girl duo since The Wreckers.

"@leannrimes always tweets stuff that makes me think," Miranda wrote. "Who runs the world . . . GULZ! ( girls in a dramatic British accent)!"

"Dang straight," LeAnn responded. "My new album is called 'Spitfire' as in 'You make me want to spit fire' so, I see us GURLZZZZ starting some heat . . . together soon. Let's make it happen."

Miranda ends with "I smell a co-write! TX girls!"

We smell trouble. . . .
