LONESTAR'S SPECIAL GUEST

Fans of Lonestar who attended the group's annual fan club party last week were treated to a very special guest. Mark McGuinn joined the group onstage to perform the song, "Unusually Unusual," that he wrote for the group's forthcoming album, I'm Already There. He and Lonestar's frontman Richie McDonald performed the song as a duet at Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon. At the song's conclusion, McDonald encouraged Mark to sing his most recent hit, "Mrs. Steven Rudy," and as the song began, fun-loving Richie donned roller skates and began skating around a surprised Mark. This year was also McGuinn's first Fan Fair appearance, and he made his debut appearance at the Grand Ole Opry on Friday night as well as performing again on Saturday.
