Little Lady or Little Lad for Lady A-er

Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott and husband Chris Tyrrell gave fans an extra-special early Christmas gift this year when the couple announced via Twitter that they are expecting their first child.

Hillary wrote, “Chris & I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a BABY! We feel so blessed!!!”

No other details have emerged regarding due dates or the sex of Baby Antebellum, but the tot will come home to a full house. The young couple has two pups—Hobbs and Baker—to help with baby-sitting duties.

Hillary and Chris, who also serves as the band’s drummer, were married earlier this year and join a number of other country stars who are adding to their family, including Love and Theft’s Eric Gunderson and wife Emily, who are expecting next spring, Jake Owen and wife Lacey, who welcomed daughter Olive Pearl last month, and Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles, who delivered son Magnus yesterday (Dec. 6).
