Little Big Town’s Female Fans Are Feeling the “Tornado” Fury

The members of Little Big Town say that women are really connecting with “Tornado,” their hit about lashing out after being done wrong.

“They just tweet a lot, like, ‘I’m a tornado.’ Or they’ll tweet certain lines, ‘I’m gonna lift this house,’” says LBT’s Karen Fairchild.

“And you just know there’s something not good going on at their house that day,” she continues, “and they need a theme song, and they need something that they can identify with.”

Adds Kimberly Schlapman: “They live vicariously through what you’re expressing.”

“It’s fun,” Karen says. “We don’t take it too seriously. I think we all feel like a tornado sometimes.”
