Little Big Town Promises “Fun Fiesta of Goofiness” for TV Special on CMA Music Fest

The country group only has one complaint about hosting Monday’s highlights show.

Things might get a little crazy on Monday night’s (Aug. 12) ABC special on this summer’s CMA Music Fest.

And that’s because ABC tapped Little Big Town to host the show, CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock.

For instance, Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild described their favorite interview being with Lady Antebellum.

“They are our dear friends, and I don’t know if that was an interview as much as a fun fiesta of goofiness,” Karen says.

LBT also loved talking to Zac Brown about food, and the quartet also loved learning about the origins of the festival.

Ya know what Little Big Town didn’t love? Wearing the same outfit all four nights of the festival.

“The only thing I would do differently if we got to host differently is I’d like to change clothes every night. You know, ’cause we have to wear the same thing, so for continuity,” Karen said. “But ABC, could we please not be continuous?”
