LILA: GROWING UP IS HARD TO DO

According to Lila McCann, finding songs for her first "adult" album, COMPLETE, was harder than she expected.

"This album by far took the longest time. We started looking for songs last January ('00) and continued recording until this February. So it took a long time just to find the material because for me the main thing was, I really didn't want to do songs like 'With You' anymore. I still like to sing them but they don't really relate to me as much as they did two years ago. So to try to find songs that were more mature was a difficult task."

The pretty young star also put her old cheerleading uniform up for grabs at a Yahoo auction recently. The uniform went for $529, but she also donated other items including and autographed guitar that sold for $436 as well as her high school graduation announcement with senior picture that sold for $98. All proceeds went to My Friend's Place, a Hollywood based charity for homeless children.
