Letterman Makes Joyful Noise About Dolly’s Figure

“Yours says ‘Hello.’ Yours says ‘Hallelujah,’” Letterman tells Dolly.

Even at age 65, Dolly Parton’s figure is a hot topic of conversation.

And that topic eventually came around when she stopped by David Letterman's late-night talk show Wednesday (Jan. 11) to plug her new choir choir movie, Joyful Noise, which opens Friday (Jan. 13).

"My choir robe is kinda fitted," Dolly said.

“I know. I noticed,” David replied. “You think of a robe as kind of a version of a bag or a sack.”

“No. Not mine,” Dolly said.

“No. Your says ‘Hello.’ Yours says ‘Hallelujah,’” David said.

“Amen!” Dolly replied.
