Legendary Ralph Emery Back on TV

Popular country music personality Ralph Emery is returning to television with the launch of Ralph Emery “LIVE” on RFD-TV.

Scheduled for Mondays at 6 p.m., the show will consist of in-depth interviews with classic country stars and feature questions from at-home viewers. Emery became a household name during the 1980s as the host of the highly-rated Nashville Now program on TNN. He had retired from broadcasting, but returned because, “I was bored. And I just missed being a part of the business I was in for so long.” Slated to appear on future shows are Willie Nelson, Barbara Mandrell, Ray Stevens and others. Currently, the series is available only through satellite services Dish and Direct TV and some cable systems.
