Lee Brice’s Bus Burns

“Thank God everyone is okay.”

Lee Brice and his band dodged a bullet Saturday (Jan. 21) when fire destroyed their bus in Mesa, Ariz.

No one was injured and Lee's performance at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill went on as scheduled.

"Thank God everyone is okay," Lee says in a statement released to CountryWeekly.com, adding that his tour will continue. "The show must go on."

The bus sustained extensive damage, according to Lee's publicist, and several instruments were lost. The exact cause of the engine fire was not known at press time.

According to Lee's tour manager, the bus had just pulled in to the club's parking lot early Saturday morning and some of the band and crew were asleep on the bus.

His next scheduled dates are in Athens, Ohio, on Jan. 25 and Port St. Lucie, Fla., on Jan. 28.
