Lee Brice Gets Engaged

"She was surprised," Lee says of his proposal.

Lee Brice got the new year off to a happy start when he proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Sara Reeveley, on Jan. 2. The couple was on vacation in Key West, Fla., when Lee popped the question.

But Lee admits that he was a little shaky about successfully pulling off the big moment. "I was so nervous that Sara was going to see me getting the ring out, and I'd be caught off guard," Lee tells CountryWeekly.com via e-mail. "Luckily, I pulled it off and she was surprised."

The two have known each other for 13 years, beginning their romance when they met in Myrtle Beach, S.C. They have a 3-year-old son named Takoda.

Lee's current single, perhaps appropriately titled "A Woman Like You," is currently climbing the charts. Lee is best known for his 2010 single "Love Like Crazy," named Billboard's Most Played Song of 2010.

A wedding date for Lee and Sara has not been set.
