LeANN'S DAD COUNTERSUES

LeAnn's Dad Countersues

What a difference a few years makes! The Rimes family was once a smiling, happy little clan in Texas. LeAnn was singing her heart out for Curb Records, and her dad and a close family friend were watching over her career as co-managers.

Now the talented teen is living in sunny California. Her parents divorced three years ago. LeAnn filed a lawsuit trying to break her contract with Curb, and she sued her dad in May for bamboozling her out of her earnings.

Now Daddy Rimes is answering that lawsuit with one of his own, claiming that he is entitled to a producer's fee of three percent as part of an agreement he made with his ex-wife last year, according to The Dallas Morning News.

The lawsuit only names LeAnn's company and not LeAnn herself as a defendant, stating, "It's kind of hard to sue your daughter."
