LeAnn Rimes Reveals Secret Truth

LeAnn Rimes is ready to dispel any rumors surrounding her voluntary admittance to a treatment facility for anxiety and stress in August.

On the Oct. 25 edition of ABC's Katie and Oct. 26 on All Access Nashville With Katie Couric, a special edition of 20/20, LeAnn tells the show's host that talk of drug abuse, alcohol abuse or eating disorders was not true. "It was so simple and so complicated," shares LeAnn. "That's the thing, it was as simple as I was unhappy and stressed, and wanting to live a happier life and a joyful life."

She also discusses turning 30 prior to her treatment and how grateful she was to leave her tumultuous 20s behind. LeAnn says, "They were interesting. It definitely had its challenges, but there were a lot of life lessons in my 20s for sure." It was in her 20s that LeAnn admitted to an extramarital affair with actor Eddie Cibrian, to whom she is now married.

All Access Nashville With Katie Couric airs Friday at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
