LeAnn Rimes Hospitalized in Ireland

Illness lands her in Dublin emergency room.

It's hard enough to be in your neighborhood hospital, but to be in a hospital in a foreign country?

Poor LeAnn Rimes! After battling a persistent cough, she landed in a hospital emergency room in Dublin, Ireland, where she was on tour. According to E! Online, a rep for LeAnn said that the country star had a "resurgence of a viral infection that she has been struggling with the past two weeks." The rep also said that the blond songbird is on vocal rest in her hospital room and remains under a doctor's care.

The good-natured LeAnn tweeted a photo of her new means of communication and said, "A gift from the hotel, a dry erase board 'cause I'm on 100% vocal rest. I was thinking smaller, but that'll [work]."

Get well soon, LeAnn!
