The best (or at least most emotional) performance from last night’s finale of America’s Got Talent wasn't from one of the contestants. LeAnn Rimes performed her new single, the inspirational “Give,” during the finale, accompanied by The Silhouettes, a dance team composed of more than 40 members, young and old.

As LeAnn performed the song, the group danced behind a translucent screen, using their shadows to create inspiring images and words, including “Believe,” “Love,” “Give” and “America.” Near the end of the song, the screen was lifted, showing the team dressed in red with sparkly American flags across their chests.

“I could barely sing the whole time. It’s just their reaction, and they are so incredible, and the message of the song . . . It’s quite emotional,” a visibly moved LeAnn said at the end of the performance, attempting to maintain her composure.

The song will be included on LeAnn's upcoming album, Lady & Gentlemen, slated for release on Sept. 27.
