LeAnn Rimes has confirmed via Twitter that she and actor Eddie Cibrian are engaged. "For those of you that haven't read, Eddie and I got engaged over the holidays," LeAnn wrote. "We are extremely excited and I look forward to a beautiful future."
LeAnn and Eddie met while filming the Lifetime cable movie Northern Lights in 2008. They began seeing each other but initially denied having an affair. Both were married to others at the time, LeAnn to Dean Sheremet and Eddie to actress and model Brandi Glanville. Both left their spouses in 2009, and LeAnn's divorce was final in June.
A date for the wedding has not yet been announced.
