LeAnn Rimes is set to appear with Burt Reynolds in the CMT movie Reel Love in November, and says she could join her husband Eddie Cibrian on the small screen. Eddie currently stars in the NBC drama The Playboy Club, and LeAnn just might make a guest appearance on the series.

“We’ve been talking about it ever since it started,” LeAnn tells ABC News Radio. The trick is how to make the appearance fit with the series, which is set in the 1960s. “It was just trying to figure out a fun way to bring me on so it's not just me coming on and singing,” she says.

It would be an ideal way for LeAnn to blend acting and singing; during the show, musicians will sometimes appear as different artists from the past. Pop songstress Colbie Caillat appeared as Lesley Gore (“It’s My Party”) and singer/songwriter Rafael Saadiq appeared as R&B legend Sam Cooke (“Having a Party”). “We’re trying to figure out how to blend that all in together,” says LeAnn.

So far, she thinks her husband has done excellent work on the series. “It’s a great show,” she says. “I’m proud of him. He’s done a great job.”
