LeAnn Rimes Admits Herself to In-Patient Facility

"She is simply there to learn coping mechanisms."

Just a day after her 30th birthday, LeAnn Rimes has admitted herself to an in-patient facility to cope with anxiety and stress. A representative for LeAnn dismisses any speculation behind rumors of alternate reasons for her admittance, saying, "She is simply there to learn coping mechanisms."

The country star came under fire after her divorce from Dean Sheremet and subsequent marriage to actor Eddie Cibrian, and has often taken to social networking to defend their relationship. She has also been accused of eating disorders and plastic surgery after posting swimsuit shots on Twitter.

The facility, which remains unnamed, will allow LeAnn to fulfill her weekend tour obligations, after which she'll return. The family is requesting that their privacy be honored while they go through this process.

interestingly, on her birthday LeAnn told celebrity site Celebuzz!, "I feel healthier, more grounded and self-confident at 30 than I ever have."
