LeAnn Heads to the Derby

LeAnn Rimes will perform the national anthem at this year’s Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky., May 2.

This will be the first-ever live vocal performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” by a national recording artist on Derby Day. Pre-race coverage begins at 4 p.m., ET, on NBC-TV. LeAnn’s performance will take place shortly after 5 p.m., ET, before the running of the Kentucky Derby.
