LBT Strengthens Lady Gaga/Country Coupling

Group’s “Born This Way” cover is catching fire.

Yes, we said “Lady Gaga/country” coupling.

That started a few months ago when Lady Gaga went goo-goo for Taylor Swift's “You Belong With Me.” Gaga declared, “Oh my God, when it comes on the radio, I sing it so loud!”

Then Taylor and Gaga went back and forth on who has sold the most singles online. Oh, and Lady Gaga released a country version of “Born This Way.”

Now, Little Big Town has released its country version of “Born This Way.” And other country stars and critics like it, they really, really like it.

“And this is how it's done, folks,” Martina McBride tweeted, including a link to the LBT video.

Music writer Chris Willman—whose clients include Rolling Stone and TV Guidealmost agrees.

“Little Big Town are determined to make me like 'Born This Way.' Damn it, it might just work,” he tweeted.

Dierks Bentley is already sold. He was in the audience of Lady Gaga's show in Nashville Tuesday night.
