Lauren Alaina Serves Up Pizza for Day Jobs

New season of GAC's Day Jobs kicks off Feb. 1.

Before Lauren Alaina was an American Idol runner-up and glitzy country newcomer, the teen was another server at pizza chain Cici's Pizza. The 17-year-old singer put on her old uniform to film an episode for the upcoming season of GAC's Day Jobs, which kicks off Feb. 1. The series takes a look at what country artists did to make money before they became successful musicians and sees if the artists still have what it takes to do their old jobs.

Lauren worked at the Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., Cici's for about six months before pursuing American Idol. During the Day Jobs episode, it's business as usual for the restaurant, as server Lauren is seen running the cash register, stocking the pizza and salad bars and even cleaning up messes in the dining area.

The first season of Day Jobs found Trace Adkins returning to work on an oil rig and Chris Young working at a heating and air-conditioning company, among other flashbacks.

No airdate has been set for the episode featuring Lauren.
