Lauren Alaina Joins Pop Stars for L.A. Christmas Tree Lighting

Lauren, Colbie Caillat, Gavin DeGraw, Robin Thicke usher in Christmas, Hollywood style.

Lauren Alaina represented the country world at a star-studded Christmas tree lighting ceremony Sunday night (Nov. 13) in Hollywood, not too far from where she earned runner-up on the latest season of American Idol.

Pop singers Colbie Caillat, Gavin DeGraw, Robin Thicke and Sean Kingston performed at the annual lighting of the 110-foot-tall Grove Christmas tree at a farmers' market in Los Angeles.

And Lauren was most impressed with Gavin DeGraw, gushing, via Twitter, that “he’s amazing” and posting a pic of the two of them together.

As for Lauren, she sang a pop-country Christmas medley that included “Blue Christmas” and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”

Beforehand, Lauren caught up with fellow American Idol teen alum Katie Stevens, who was on the show the season before Lauren.

“At dinner with my bestie,” Lauren tweeted, along with the pic of the two. “I love this girl!”
