Laura Bell Bundy to Host Country Weekly Fashion Show & Concert

Fifth annual event benefits Musicians On Call.

Broadway star, actress and country artist Laura Bell Bundy will host the Fifth Annual Country Weekly Fashion Show & Concert, which will take place June 7 at Nashville’s Rocketown. The multitalented Laura Bell, who appeared on Broadway in Hairspray and as the original Elle Woods in Legally Blonde: The Musical, released her major label debut, Achin’ and Shakin’, in 2010. In addition to hosting, Bundy will also perform as part of the annual gala.

Country stars Joe Nichols and Steel Magnolia, the duo made up of Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones, have previously been announced as performers at the charity event.

Additional participants include Danny Gokey, Bucky Covington, Joey+Rory, Ty Herndon, Sarah Darling, Burns & Poe, Tiffany, Katie Armiger, Joanna Smith, LoCash Cowboys, Carter’s Chord, Ashley Gearing, Danielle Peck, Stealing Angels, Margaret Durante and James Wesley, among others.

The event, which will be emceed by GAC's Suzanne Alexander, will benefit Musicians On Call, a nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to patients in health-care facilities.

General admission tickets are on sale at ticketmaster.com for $30 and a few VIP tickets are available for $75 and $125 at musiciansoncall.org. Doors open at 8 p.m. on June 7 and the show will start at 9 p.m.
