Though Laura Bell Bundy's musical success with "Giddy On Up" has pegged her as an artist to watch, she hasn't given up her acting chops.

The former Broadway actress who portrayed Elle Woods in Legally Blonde the Musical just scored a recurring role on the popular CBS show How I Met Your Mother. Laura will play television anchor Robin's (Cobie Smulders) new co-host, and it's rumored that she will go on a date with lead character Ted (portrayed by Josh Radnor), Entertainment Weekly confirms.
