Lady A Scores Sixth No. 1 Hit—and Some Tasty Crawfish

“Ordered crawfish up from Louisiana and they were rockin!” Dave reports after S.C. show.

No reason not to treat yourself right and have some good chow on the road when you're a big, successful headliner country act.

Lady Antebellum has launched a new tour with a big swing through the South, and that apparently gave the trio a hankering for . . . crawfish?

"We had a KILLER crawfish boil on Saturday in Clemson, SC," Lady A's Dave Haywood reported on the group's website. "Ordered crawfish up from Louisiana and they were rockin! You guys are so much fun on the road. Love all the signs and energy everywhere."

Okey-dokey. Making the mudbugs even tastier is the fact that Lady A scored its sixth career No. 1 on Billboard country singles chart with "We Owned the Night," the song that the group uses to kick off its concerts on the aforementioned tour.

"The energy really helps get the night kicked off right and sets the tone," Lady A's Charles Kelley said in a statement. "It's crazy to think we've had six No. one hits. . . . We want to send out a big thank you to all of our friends at country radio, our record label and our fans!"
